What is The Greenery?

The Greenery has always been ritual land — a place where the veil thins and nature listens back. Among tree circles and standing stones, I now teach others to work with breath, earth, and intention.

The Story of The Greenery

The Greenery began with Don and Lynn Warren, a gentle and visionary couple who dreamed of creating a place where people and land could live in quiet harmony. They built it from almost nothing — just soil, spirit, and a shared belief that nature knows how to heal if given the chance. The Greenery grew under their care: trees planted, outbuildings raised, the land slowly learning to breathe again.

Years later, when I first arrived with my daughter Iris, the place was wild and waiting — full of promise, but also in need of love. We saw not just what it was, but what it could be. Together, we began to weave ourselves into its story. The fields became our classroom; the animals, our teachers. Breathwork found its home here among the whispering hedgerows and the quiet pulse of the earth.

Over time, The Greenery became more than a home. It became a living ecosystem of healing — a place where breathwork, spirituality, and the natural world meet without pretence. People have come here for sessions, for learning, or simply to remember how to exhale.

Now, The Greenery continues to evolve. My partner Will tends the land as head groundsman — keeping the gardens, orchards, and animals thriving. Together we care for the emus, horses, dogs, and cats who share this patch of Worcestershire soil with us. The Greenery remains what it has always been at heart: a sanctuary for breath, reflection, and renewal.

This is not a business in disguise — it is a home that welcomes growth, in all its forms. Every tree, every creature, every breath here has a story, and somehow they all keep saying the same thing: life wants to live.

Ritual Space

Since its earliest days under Don and Lynn Warren, The Greenery has quietly carried the pulse of ritual. This land was never ordinary — it was built in alignment with nature’s rhythm, with corners that hum at solstice and trees that remember who planted them. Over the years, fires have been lit here for the turning of the seasons, the moon has been honoured in her cycles, and the ground itself has absorbed prayers, songs, and transformation.

The Greenery remains ritual land — alive, aware, and ready to meet those who come with respect. Circles of trees and stones mark places of gathering where the veil between seen and unseen thins. The work done here is not theatrical; it is devotional. It’s about learning to listen to land, to energy, and to what breath reveals when the elements are invoked with care.

Now, this sacred space is opening again — not for spectacle, but for teaching. I’m inviting others to learn the art of ritual work: grounding, intention, elemental invocation, ancestral connection, and the weaving of breath and magic. The land itself is the teacher as much as I am.

Those who step into circle here are guided to stand where countless rituals have already softened the soil — to feel the quiet current of something ancient, real, and benevolent moving through it all.
